Message from the President

Weng YnionJune was an important month to most of us. It was in June that professors, mentors and supervisors saw their students take that long-coveted first step as they march down the aisle for their graduation rites. It was also a month of celebrating great achievements for our BSSP/BSSLP graduates, who we now proudly call as colleagues.

On behalf of the PASP Officers and Board of Trustees, I would like to welcome you dear graduates to an organization where you will continue to learn and grow as a professional. Let us help each other in making sure that we provide the quality service each and every client deserves.

I hope to see all the members on July 11 for our bi-annual General Assembly. We have great news for everyone. We are encouraging more professionals to volunteer and be active members of their chosen committee so we can efficiently implement our programs and projects.

For those who are not yet a part of our website’s directory, please click JOIN US on the upper left corner of the page and the membership committee will get in touch with you. Yes, you have to click that button to tell us that you want to be a part of the group.

Communication among members was also made easier through the FORUM. I suggest that you click SUBSCRIBE so you can receive email notifications for updates. If you are part of the Directory, you will also be prioritized for email blasts regarding seminars, work opportunities, outreach programs, etc.

Help us make our mark and be unified as the only professional organization for Speech-Language Pathologists recognized by the government.

Be with us in making this organization soar to greater heights!
