Suselyn E. Pascual, MRS-SP, CSP-PASP

Susie has dedicated her career to serving those in need, and also to developing and upholding the SP profession in the country. She recently served as the President of PASP for CY2020-CY2021, and is hence ex-officio member of the PASP Board of Trustees until the end of CY2023.  She was also the Vice President and Treasurer from 2014-2017. She is an indefatigable champion of speech pathology in the Philippines. Susie is a graduate of BS Speech Pathology (1986) and Master in Rehabilitation Science - Speech Pathology (2010) from the College of Allied Medical Professions, University of the Philippines-Manila.


When not seeing clients, Susie supervises interns both at Core Skills Therapy Center, where she is also a partner, and at QC Kabahagi Center for Children with Disabilities. She also gives regular Early Intervention Seminars to parents of the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines, Inc. (DSAPI).


Prior to the pandemic, she has been teaching both undergraduate and graduate students in UP-CAMP.

                                         

Susie has trained for  Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT I and II); for MNRI: Dynamic and Postural Reflex Pattern Integration, MNRI: Oral-Facial Reflex Integration I and II, and MNRI: Tactile Integration; for HANEN Center's More than Words, It Takes Two to Talk, and TalkAbility Parent Training Programs, and CAMP's AAC Certification Course.
