Worthy Habla
Chair, Membership Committee
Worthy Habla, RSLP, with 15 years of experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, serves as the senior SLP at Therabilities, Inc. and Help Therapy Center. A committed advocate, he leads outreach efforts for the deaf and hard of hearing and volunteers for community development projects across Luzon.
Justine Ang
Chair, Finance & Special Projects Committee
Justine Ang, RSLP, senior Speech-Language Pathologist and co-owner of Play & Say Therapy Center, brings 18 years of pediatric-focused experience. Passionate about early intervention, she combines clinical expertise with compassionate care, making a lasting impact on her clients and their families.
Jeremiah Pinca
Chair, Professional Standards & Ethics Committee
Jeremiah Pinca, RSLP, is the Clinical and Program Director of Wordabilities Development Center with over 15 years of experience. A dedicated leader in professional standards, he also volunteers internationally with Operation Smile and is the host of “SLP Shoptalk,” a podcast for Filipino SLPs, blending expertise with a passion for advocacy and community engagement.
Jeremias Sorongon
Chair, Continuing Education & Research
Jeremias “Jerry” Sorongon, RSLP, a pioneer alumnus of Cebu Doctors’ University and recent NYU graduate, combines extensive clinical and academic experience. With international expertise in early intervention and autism, he is dedicated to advancing the field in the Philippines, supporting the growth of globally competent Filipino SLPs.
Arden Romanillos
Chair, External Affairs Committee
Arden Romanillos, RSLP, is a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in communication and swallowing disorders across age groups. As Chief SLP at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute and an instructor at UST, Arden combines clinical expertise with academic leadership, while also managing a veterinary business and exhibiting champion dogs.
Ferdiliza Garcia
Chair, Legislation & Public Policy Committee
Dr. Ferdiliza Garcia, a dedicated social development advocate, educator, and professional volunteer, has held multiple leadership roles within PASP and internationally, including with the WHO. With extensive experience in disability-inclusive policy, community-based rehabilitation, and interprofessional research, she champions initiatives that empower communities and advance Speech-Language Pathology in the Philippines.
Katherine Tiuseco
Chair, Public Relations Committee
Katherine Tiuseco, RSLP, a multi-talented Speech-Language Pathologist, author, and original member of the Ryan Cayabyab Singers, combines her background in Speech Communication and performance with her role as a passionate advocate. Known for her educational YouTube channel “Teacher Kaye Talks,” she creatively shares evidence-based techniques to empower families and promote Filipino language and heritage through original children’s songs.
Elinor Bautista
Chair, Convention Committee
Elinor Bautista is a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist (RSLP) with 27 years of experience in pediatric language intervention, specializing in higher-order language skills, pragmatic language development, and literacy. A graduate of the University of the Philippines Manila, she is also a clinical instructor and supervisor at UST’s College of Rehabilitation Sciences.
Ely has held leadership roles in the Philippine Association of Speech Pathologists (PASP), including President (2018-2019) and Board Member (2020-2021), and is currently Membership Officer for the Asia Pacific Society for Speech, Language, and Hearing. She holds certifications in PROMPT and a Diploma in Language and Literacy Education from UPOU, where she earned academic distinction.
Outside work, she enjoys a balanced life with her husband and two wonderful children.
