Dr. Ferdiliza Dandah S. Garcia is a social development advocate, professional volunteer and educator. She served previously as a PASP officer handling the committee of membership, being a vice-president and president. She is currently the committee chair of the PASP Committee on Professional Standards and Ethics and is one of the co-chairs of the World Health Organization World Rehabilitation Alliance Primary care workstream.

She was a member of the WHO Technical Working Group on Priority Rehabilitation Packages (Stroke, Cerebral Palsy and Basic Rehabilitation) and a resource person for the development of various disability inclusive and disability specific programs and policies involving national government agencies such as DOH, DSWD, NDA and Council for the Welfare of Children and different local government units.

Being a staunch advocate and believer of community-based rehabilitation, she continually encourages students to pursue this career path being a preceptor in the UP CAMP CBR program and works with other BR/CBID non-government organizations as the current President of the Philippine Community Based Disability Inclusive Development Association.

She has also been involved with various international interprofessional researches that have helped create strategic plans in moving forward the wheelchair service program advocacy within the Philippines. Her areas of research interest include disability inclusive development, disability-inclusive disaster risk reduction and management, assistive device provision in less resource settings, community-based rehabilitation, participatory health and development and emancipatory research.

Her active voluntary involvement in socio-civic, faith-based, non-government and government organizations has resulted to her being awarded as one of UP CAMP's Big 50, UP Alumni Association Distinguished Alumna Award for Community Empowerment last 2016 and one of the 2021 Miriam College Amazing Alumni Achievers.
