Jeremiah Pinca

Jeremiah is the Clinical and Program Director and Speech-Language Pathology Section Chief of Wordabilities Development Center in Caloocan City. He graduated from the University of the Philippines Manila College of Allied Medical Professions (UP CAMP) in 2006 and has since been an active regular member of the Philippine Association of Speech-Language Pathologists (PASP). He has previously served as one of the PASP Board of Directors in 2009 to 2012, and as PASP Secretary from 2012 to 2014.


For 15 years now, he is also an internationally credentialed medical volunteer of Operation Smile, a non-profit service organization that provides free cleft lip and palate surgeries to children worldwide. He is a graduate of the TINIG AAC (Technological Intervention in Giving Augmentative and Alternative Communication) certification course from the Department of Speech Pathology of UP CAMP in 2017 and is currently the assistant head of the PASP Special Interest Group on AAC. He has profound interest and experience in typical and disordered language, speech-motor development, pediatric feeding, school-age, and life-based communication skills.


Presently, he is also a member of the PASP Professional Standards and Ethics Committee, a resource speaker in the ADHD Society of the Philippines, and also the host and producer of "SLP Shoptalk," a podcast about Filipino SLPs, for SLPs, by SLPs via Spotify.


Outside the profession, Jeremiah is a loving husband to his wife, Millicent, and a doting furdad to two cute puppies, namely Chanel and Hermes. He also volunteers at his local Christian church, enjoys reading action-adventure historical fiction, serialized novels, and watching crime-thriller and police-procedural TV shows. He is also always on the lookout for the best chicken dish and invigorating fruit drinks.
