Fernando Alejandro C. Ligot, MHPEd, CSP-PASP
Chairperson, Board of Trustees
Prof. Fernando Alejandro C. Ligot, fondly known as “Sir Bal,” has been a pillar in Speech-Language Pathology education in the Philippines. With a career spanning decades, he serves as an associate professor at UP-CAMP and has been a dedicated volunteer and consultant for Operation Smile Philippines. A founding member of PASP, Sir Bal has continuously contributed to the advancement of the profession and has earned numerous awards for his work in academia and community service.
Ma. Georgina D. Mojica, MHPEd, CSP-PASP
Prof. Ma. Georgina “Gigi” Mojica, Assistant Dean of the College of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Santo Tomas, is a respected leader in Speech-Language Pathology. With over three decades of teaching and clinical experience, she pioneered the BS Speech-Language Pathology program at UST and actively contributes to education standards as a member of the CHED Technical Committee. Her work spans hearing habilitation, stroke rehabilitation, and inclusive education, making her a prominent figure in the profession.
Jocelyn Christina B. Marzan, PhD, CCC-SLP, CSP-PASP

Prof. Jocelyn “Joyce” Marzan has dedicated over 30 years to advancing Speech-Language Pathology in the Philippines. A respected faculty member at UP Manila, she has pioneered instructional and curriculum developments, including the establishment of initial standards for SLP education in collaboration with CHED. With a background in clinical and developmental psychology, she has been instrumental in advocating for the Speech Language Pathology Act (RA 11249) and envisions a nationwide network of SLP programs focused on service and research to benefit Filipinos with communication and swallowing disorders.
Judith A. Damian, M.S., CCC-SLP, CDP, CSP-PASP
Judy Damian, an accomplished Speech-Language Pathologist with over 30 years of experience in adult rehabilitation, specializes in gerontology, dysphagia, and neurogenic cognitive-communication disorders. As Chair of the Department of Speech Language Pathology at UST, she brings extensive clinical and academic expertise to her teaching and leadership roles. A licensed clinician in California and the Philippines, Judy actively mentors students and clinicians while pursuing her PhD, contributing to the advancement of SLP education and practice.
Suselyn E. Pascual, MRS-SP, CSP-PASP
Susie Pascual, former PASP President (2020-2021) and a long-standing leader in the profession, has tirelessly advocated for Speech-Language Pathology in the Philippines. With extensive experience in early intervention and specialized training in PROMPT and AAC, she is a mentor and clinician dedicated to uplifting the profession. Susie is a partner at Core Skills Therapy Center and actively supervises interns while also supporting parents of children with disabilities through the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines, Inc.
